Samsung unveils hybrid phone-tablet device, new Galaxy Tab

Samsung Electronics today introduced a pair of new wireless products, including the Galaxy Note, a stylus-driven device with a 5.3-inch screen designed to mix smartphone and tablet features. “We’re going to provide a single primary on-the-go smartphone that consolidates every task of mobile devices,” said Samsung’s Min Cho. The company also trotted out a new tablet: the Android 3.2-powered Galaxy Tab 7.7, equipped with a 7.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display.
