The USC Trojans and Texas Longhorns have announced a home-and-home series, which begins in 2017.
The USC Trojans will host their home game against the Texas Longhorns on September 16, 2017 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. To complete the series, the Texas Longhorns will meet the Trojans for the return game on September 15, 2018 at Darrell K. Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin.
The last get-together between the Trojans and Longhorns occurred at the 2006 Rose Bowl Game in Pasadena, when the Longhorns defeated the Trojans 41-38 in what some call one of the best games in college football history. The Trojans hold a 4-1 lead in the all-time series, winning in 1955 and 1967 in Los Angeles and 1956 and 1966 in Austin.
