Coming to a wireless device in your neighborhood: 100 Gbps

The Pentagon agency best known for helping to invent the Internet, The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, is currently seeking to put the Wireless Web on hyper warp-speeds. DARPA, which has determined that the current wireless standards are way too slow to meet the needs of the agency, is determined to create a network that can reach 100 gigabits per second, the gold standard for fiber-optic speeds, according to military documents.
