Annette Funicello, Mouseketeer and 60s Beach Movie Actress, Dies at 70

Annette Funicello, who began her acting career as a 12-year-old in Mickey Mouse ears, captivated adolescent baby boomers in titillating (by 1960s standards) beach movies that at first upset her former boss, Walt Disney.
