Chick-Fil-A Testing Mobile Payments

Customers at twenty Chick-fil-A locations are testing a mobile payment system similar to Starbucks’ QR code payment system.

Customers download the Chik-fil-A Mobile Ordering app and registers their payment card account to load funds.  Customers tap the “pay” button on the app which then displays a QR code to be scanned at the register.

The system is in pilot at 20 Chick-fil-A locations in Winston-Salem, High Point and Greensboro and is expected to roll-out nationwide after the pilot.
